Last 2 outings with Kailey

A quick catch up....

Last weekend we took Kailey to a petting zoo - she got to ride a train and feed the farm animals. Since then she has started to play with her plastic farm animals and has to eat every meal with them so she can feed them off her plate.
Then this past weekend we went to a Kids Museum, where they had a whole section for kids Kai's age. She played in the shopping section, the kitchen, the post office, hospital, reading section, arts and crafts, vegie patch, train station, and water section. It was two hours of squeeling and running! Great fun!

So cute! I love seeing pics of her, but I'd really love to see a pic of you and a pregnancy update :)

Hi there, congratulations on the new pregnancy. It sounds as if it is much worse than the first one you had with Kailey. Must be a male! Will there be a third, I wonder? It is lovely to see pix of you all and Kailey is absolutely gorgeous. What a doll! You are looking great (!) too and Derek is as good looking as ever. Good luck in the new house and the cold. Enjoy, I hope..
You are cordially invited to Amanda's 21st birthday party on 16 August. Any chance of you getting her? I doubt it but your whole fam-damily will be there, so if you get a free ride on someone's plane, let me know! She went to the Greek Islands with Clare on Contiki and had a ball or two or three. She is writing her 3rd year exams this year, so will get her basic BSc degree - hopefully!
Boys are writing prelims for matric at the moment, so there is great stress - there is great stress. (Everything is doubled!) According to them, they are not doing well in these exams but I hope it is just the stress talking. Mark has got into UCT for a Business Science degree, and Stef has also applied, but his maths (!) mark went down a point, so they want to see his next marks. Hold thumbs.
Wulf has sold the firm - can you believe it! - and will work for another 3 years and then see. I cannot see him in retirement mode. He will most probably start another job or study the stock market in depth, which is what he has been wanting to do for years but never had the time or energy. He is well and fit and flourishing.
Me, I stopped work in March and am loving being at home. I am still nesting and bake muffins every day and the family sit down to many 3-course meals as I explore all the receipes I have been collecting for years. The family think they have gone to Heaven!
Lots of love to you all, and thanks so much for the videos (what fun) and info. It is fantastic to keep in such good contact.
